Listen to, understand and protect the ocean, one small project at a time.

About me

My name is Leon

I am 13 years old, French, and I live near Paris. I love the sea, I go boating and windsurfing, and I am fascinated by sharks.

I am looking to connect with other people to share projects that mix electronics, computing and a passion for the marine world, to help discover it differently and protect it. With DALATIA, I want to raise awareness about how fragile the ocean is. Come along with me.

馃寠

The idea behind DALATIA

Make the ocean approachable. Simple projects you can build and understand, to feel wonder and take action for the sea.

  • Raise awareness about the fragile ocean
  • Help protect this world
  • Discover it differently, together

First project 路 Noctiluca

Noctiluca, a hydrophone to listen to our friends underwater

My first project is called Noctiluca. With a few electronic parts and a little code, you can build an underwater microphone and listen to the life hidden below the surface.

馃帶

Listen

Pick up the sounds of fish, crustaceans and moving water, where the human ear hears nothing.

馃敡

Build

A sensor, a small circuit, a recorder. Affordable parts and step-by-step plans.

馃捇

Understand

A bit of code to record and visualize the sounds, and learn to recognize what you hear.
